Delaware Nation Industries is offering a role within the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), specifically in the Office of Strategic Planning (OSP). This office oversees the bureau’s capital and non-capital planning programs, project schedules, and interagency cost sharing programs crucial for maintaining overseas facilities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain data standards, policies, and procedures within assigned sub-domains of OBO.
• Identify specific data standards, run quality analysis, and resolve data issues.
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks and programs.
• Collaborate with data stewards and users to enhance data accessibility and utility.
• Manage data assets, including metadata management and data cataloging.
• Provide advisory and support to data stewards and producers.
• Brief office leadership on data standards and quality issues.
• Advise senior management on automation benefits and data insights.
• Conduct comprehensive data analyses and methodological reviews.
• Use software and programming languages to analyze data and inform decisions.
• Translate data analytics findings into concise reports.
• Research and design presentations tailored to specific audiences.
• Analyze legislation or regulations to determine impact on operations.

This role requires you to have:

• Expert knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and data quality management.
• Experience with data management and analytics tools.
• Understanding of OBO's mission, functions, and organizational relationships.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Python, R, MS Power BI, and Tableau.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel extensively overseas.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens capable of obtaining a Secret security clearance and undergo medical precautions for overseas travel. A Bachelor’s degree and nine years of related experience are required.
