In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and manage scalable data pipelines and infrastructures with Databricks and Snowflake.
- Handle extensive data sets to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define and prioritize data needs.
- Create and apply data governance standards to maintain quality and security.
- Maintain adherence to global data hosting regulations like GDPR.
- Enhance data infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Create technical documentation for data infrastructures and pipelines.
- Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in data engineering.

This role requires you to have:
- 5+ years of data engineering experience focusing on scalable pipelines and architectures.
- Expertise in Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in data governance and global data hosting regulations.
- Skilled in handling large data arrays ensuring quality and compliance.
- Strong programming capabilities in Python or Java.
- Experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modeling.
- Comprehensive understanding of data security and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with data discovery, metadata management, and cataloging.
- Background in agile methodologies and version control with Git.
- Certification in data engineering or data governance.
