In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and manage scalable data pipelines and infrastructures with Databricks and Snowflake.
• Handle extensive data sets to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define and prioritize data needs.
• Create and apply data governance standards to maintain quality and security.
• Maintain adherence to global data hosting regulations like GDPR.
• Enhance data infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Create technical documentation for data infrastructures and pipelines.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in data engineering.

This role requires you to have:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience focusing on scalable pipelines and architectures.
• Expertise in Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in data governance and global data hosting regulations.
• Skilled in handling large data arrays ensuring quality and compliance.
• Strong programming capabilities in Python or Java.
• Experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modeling.
• Comprehensive understanding of data security and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with data discovery, metadata management, and cataloging.
• Background in agile methodologies and version control with Git.
• Certification in data engineering or data governance.
