Senior Data Analyst

Energy Services Group International, Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their dynamic team for a 6-month contract. The role is essential for supporting and analyzing data anomalies across diverse environments, including Data Warehouse and ETL Data Management. The position involves collaboration with various teams to ensure effective data handling and governance.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Investigate and analyze data anomalies and issues reported by the business.
• Collaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to document data transformations and movements.
• Ensure consistent support methodologies for data transformations and movements.
• Assist in break fixes and production validation related to data structures.
• Configure and maintain the Data Virtualization tool.
• Update documentation regarding Data Standardization, Data Dictionary, and Data Lineage.
• Collect and interpret patterns and trends from various data sources.

This role requires you to have:

• 4+ years of experience in SQL with OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data databases.
• 4+ years in a data analyst role.
• Extensive query writing and data movement knowledge.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with writing medium to complex stored procedures.
• Denodo experience.
• Big Data experience including Hadoop, MongoDB, Exadata.

The role requires working onsite in a hybrid model from Dallas, TX. Candidates must be able to commute or relocate before starting.
