The Data Engineer I role, part of the Information Systems team, focuses on strategic projects such as IRIS and a new ERP system to centralize and enhance data-driven decision-making.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Develop data-driven solutions supporting business goals
• Analyze data sources and pipelines for various projects
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Maintain and optimize a data warehouse for data storage and retrieval
• Automate reporting and document technical specifications
• Support the Data Science Center of Excellence with data engineering needs

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Physics/Engineering, Business, or Mathematics
• Experience building ETL data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Two years of data warehouse development experience
• Experience with AWS and related tools

• Experience with cloud service architecture and secure AWS environments
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and Looker
