The role focuses on supporting various business initiatives by developing analytic models that unlock the potential of data assets. This hybrid role is based in The Woodlands, TX, or New Orleans, LA, and involves working closely with key stakeholders to drive substantial business value.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning products as part of the delivery team to meet strategic business needs.
• Handle and prepare data from various formats and sources, including cloud data, for analysis.
• Conduct analytics, model training, and result evaluation, deploying models to generate business insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers to create descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive solutions.
• Partner with senior data scientists for advanced data use cases and continue to enhance data science knowledge.
• Advocate for Entergy’s AI initiatives and collaborate across business units, enhancing Entergy's brand in analytics.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience for Level II or 4-6 years for Level III in data science-related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries.
• Experience in data manipulation and cleaning using SQL.
