EquipmentShare is expanding its team with the role of Data Engineer - People Analytics. The position exists to transform HR-focused business requirements into scalable structures. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and aims to enhance the company’s people analytics processes.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and manage data pipelines using SQL and Python for data extraction and transformation.
• Utilize data from systems like Workday and survey data to create scalable analytics reports.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications with completion timelines.
• Create, test, and deploy changes effectively.
• Monitor and refine pipelines and ETLs, identifying and mitigating potential issues proactively.

This role requires you to have:

• 4+ years of extensive SQL experience for complex problem-solving.
• 3+ years of Python expertise for scalable process development.
• 2+ years in data modeling.
• Familiarity with AWS products.
• Proficiency in using Git.
• Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic project environments.
