The role of Data Engineer III is vital to construct scalable, efficient data infrastructures and pipelines. This position involves collaborating with business stakeholders to address data needs and building real-time streaming APIs for machine learning applications connected to numerous IoT devices.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and build robust, scalable data processing and integration pipelines.
- Use Azure cloud services for data processing and analytics.
- Leverage Databricks and Apache Spark for big data processing and real-time streaming.
- Implement IoT data integrations with tools like Splunk.
- Optimize data workflows using parallel processing techniques.
- Enhance ETL processes for performance and scalability.
- Maintain data quality with unit tests.
- Manage version control using Git.
- Build and deploy ETLs through Azure DevOps Pipelines.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years experience in data engineering.
- Expertise in SQL and Python.
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
- Knowledge of IoT systems and platforms like Splunk.
- Strong understanding of real-time streaming data processing.
- Proficient in parallel processing and ETL optimization.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and schema design.
- Experience in unit testing and automated frameworks.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Experience with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
