As part of the Product Development Operations and Quality team, the Connected Vehicle Data Analytics Engineer will tackle cross-functional quality investigations and analytics for propulsion systems. This role is integral for continuous learning and problem-solving with a focus on big data.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in product development.
- Debug and resolve propulsion systems quality issues using connected vehicle data.
- Utilize BQ SQL and similar tools for big data analysis in propulsion systems.
- Develop data pipelines and workflows with Python and Alteryx.
- Coordinate with vehicle software teams to create and validate new data elements.
- Conduct statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and pattern recognition.
- Utilize in-vehicle calibration tools to validate connected data on propulsion features.
- Simplify complex data sets for diverse audiences.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SQL, Python, and Spark
- 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry
You would benefit from having:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science/Analytics
- 5+ years of propulsion systems experience
- Experience with Agile, Git, and CI/CD
- Google Cloud Platform Certification
