In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Utilize Git for codebase version control and collaboration
• Design a scalable and secure data architecture
• Lead ELT and ETL workflow integration
• Support and maintain legacy pipelines using Oracle BI and SQLServer
• Establish monitoring tools for deployment and system health
• Promote system modernization and minimize technical debt
• Review and guide the team's code and architecture
• Mentor team members and establish best practices
• Lead infrastructure development and migration to new ML orchestration platform
• Maintain Python code for ML and data pipelines
• Document procedures and configurations for knowledge sharing

This role requires you to have:

• 8+ years in Data Ops or Data Engineering
• Expertise in SQL for legacy systems and cloud-based data warehouses
• Intermediate Git proficiency and integration in development lifecycle
• Advanced data pipeline development knowledge
• Proficiency in Python coding best practices
• Prompt engineering experience with GitHub Copilot
