PowerBI Data Engineer

GCyber is searching for a dedicated PowerBI Data Engineer to enhance and secure data workflows for a substantial Army project. This role involves using advanced programming skills to automate dashboards and reporting processes, ensuring efficient data management from cybersecurity applications.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Extract and correlate data from cybersecurity tools using APIs and custom scripts.
• Create Python/PowerShell scripts for real-time data ingestion into Power BI.
• Develop and manage API integrations for secure data flow to Power BI.
• Automate reporting by designing Power BI connectors for real-time dashboard creation.
• Build custom Power BI dashboards to display key security metrics and trends.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare periodic reports on cybersecurity metrics using Power BI.

This role requires you to have:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
• 3-5 years of DoD analytics experience
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Expertise in Power BI dashboard development
• API integration skills
