The role exists to support GEICO's growth and profitability through strategic data analysis and management. The successful candidate will work within the State Management Analytics team, contributing to strategic projects and delivering insightful data-driven solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Research innovative methods to assess risk.
• Understand and predict customer behavior regarding claims.
• Engage in strategic and analytical projects to enhance GEICO's growth.
• Utilize SQL/SAS for large datasets and analyze performance metrics in Excel.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders across various departments.
• Present analytical findings to management.
• Employ Agile methodologies with Azure DevOps for project tracking.
• Design monitoring plans for new product implementations.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python and data visualization.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
• Advanced skills in MS Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical, mathematical, and data management expertise.
• Ability to work hybrid schedule from Chevy Chase, MD office.
