The role focuses on designing scalable data solutions in collaboration with data scientists and analysts to advance machine learning and analytics capabilities. The engineer will ensure data integrity and compliance while optimizing cloud-based storage strategies.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain the Exadata environment.
• Enhance data storage and access strategies on Azure.
• Uphold data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with data teams on advanced analytics and machine learning projects.
• Monitor and ensure data pipeline performance and scalability.
• Work with diverse data formats to develop efficient models and warehouses.
• Automate workflows for improved data processing efficiency.
• Document engineering processes and best practices.

This role requires you to have:

• Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Proficiency in cloud-based platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect, AWS Step Functions).
• Understanding of data governance and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
