General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Senior Data Analyst to join their team, focusing on transforming data into actionable insights to support federal agency missions. The role involves developing dashboards, performing analytics, and collaborating with clients to manage risks and provide essential reporting solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and define industry best practices for decision-making
• Create, refine, and deliver reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SQL
• Provide data analytics and key insights
• Define and highlight Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Manage a team of analysts to develop analytical solutions and standardize best practices
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and engineers to determine feature requests and priorities
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans to improve Agile processes
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new features
• Support user acceptance testing and deployment
• Prepare and conduct presentations and training materials
• Create and maintain documentation
• Deliver on-time Agile sprint releases

This role requires you to have:

• Strong Excel background and familiarity with Microsoft tools
• Experience reporting on ITIL Processes using tools like ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Salesforce
• Proficiency with SQL
• Ability to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Experience managing small to medium teams
• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
