Staff Data Engineer, Vehicle Telematics

This role is critical in supporting use cases involving telematics data to benefit retail and fleet customers.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop scalable data platforms to manage growing data volumes
• Create and maintain data pipelines using technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Support infrastructure for optimal data ingestion and storage
• Work with data scientists for advanced ML development needs
• Implement data validation and governance checks
• Mentor junior engineers and simplify complex processes

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years in data engineering using Python or Scala, and SQL
• 5+ years in distributed data processing with Spark and Kubernetes
• Expertise in performance tuning and infrastructure as code
• Strong data architecture skills and cloud platform experience
