In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Aggregate and integrate data from various sources such as GIS and SCADA
• Ensure high data quality through validation and cleansing processes
• Develop data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases
• Collaborate with data scientists to provide structured data for modeling
• Automate data processing for efficiency
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations

This role requires you to have:

• PhD in Water Economics, Agriculture, or Data Engineering
• 15 years' experience in data engineering or database management
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Oracle, and cloud solutions like AWS
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
