Data Engineer

This role exists to support their Innovation Center's project, with a team focused on enhancing data processing and integration in the AWS ecosystem. The team aims to harness these capabilities to achieve scalable performance.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance processing pipelines using AWS tools and frameworks.
• Keep architecture specifications and create detailed design documentation.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, loading, and integration with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists on data analysis.
• Implement and fine-tune big data technologies for scalable performance.
• Design ETL pipelines for automating structured and unstructured data ingestion and migration.
• Work with DevOps engineers on CI, CD, and IaC processes; translate specifications into code and design documents; review code and enhance code quality.

This role requires you to have:

• 3 years' experience with Python or another OOP language.
• Advanced SQL features usage including regular expressions and analytical functions.
• Experience with NoSQL products like JSON.
• One year of experience using query planners and database metrics for optimization.
