Senior Data Analyst

Global Credit Union

Global Credit Union is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team. The role entails ownership of business lines, becoming an expert in those areas, and partnering strategically with business customers. The candidate will excel in query writing, report building, and implementing end-to-end reporting solutions. The role requires leadership, oversight of multiple projects, and close collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Independently works with business users and domain SMEs to gather requirements.
• Defines and maintains various data models to meet analytics needs.
• Designs ETL processes for data loading and reconciliation.
• Develops processes for capturing and maintaining metadata.
• Assists in data mapping and preparation with specified logic and business rules.
• Supports the development and publication of reports and dashboards.
• Assists with Data Quality (DQ) and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
• Helps develop governance processes for data management and warehouse development.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of credit union operations and industry trends.
• Provides project management for assigned business intelligence projects.
• Prepares and presents proposals, recommendations, and selections for various data tools and processes.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze problems and develop recommendations
• Experience with self-service analytics tools like Excel, Power Pivot, YellowFin, Snowflake, PowerBI, and Tableau

You would benefit from having:
