Aiming to optimize data availability and accelerate insights, the Onyx team is comprised of experts in product development, AI/ML, and data engineering.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-native systems to address critical business challenges
• Develop scalable components for GSK's research data platform
• Represent Onyx in internal and external scientific collaborations
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to adapt tools for new use cases
• Advise users on application scaling for large data sets
• Develop high-quality software including tests and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and apply best coding practices
• Mentor and lead junior team members

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices
• Experience with data governance
• Programming skills in Python, Scala, or Go
