SQL Data Engineer (SDE)

HaystackID's Business Intelligence & Development team seeks an SQL Data Engineer reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence & Master Data. The role centers on data management, supporting master data, and enhancing corporate billing tools and data accuracy while working closely with different internal teams.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Automate data processes across operations, finance, and client services.
• Enhance data-related business processes for enterprise-wide metrics.
• Design data management and intelligence tools ensuring data integrity.
• Create and maintain documentation for data workflows compliance and security.
• Oversee ETL processes in Microsoft SQL and third-party platforms.
• Monitor workflows to identify and mitigate inconsistencies or bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with IT and database teams for seamless data integration.

This role requires you to have:

• Understanding of finance, billing, and operations business processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, including query writing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of data normalization and integrity.
• Familiarity with data tools such as SSMS, Azure Data Factory, and Power Automate.
• Data modeling and reporting capabilities.
• Attention to detail ensuring report accuracy.

You would benefit from having:

• Understanding of eDiscovery workflows.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Power BI and Tableau.

The role requires no supervisory responsibilities and accepts either an associate or bachelor degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
