Heartland Dental, a growing network supporting over 1,700 dental offices in 39 states, seeks a talented Data Analyst to join the Payer Relations Department. This role aims to boost dental payor support through expert analytics, helping to negotiate insurance fees effectively. The position is part of a dedicated team focused on delivering value to Heartland's supported dentists.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conduct business analytics for insurance networks and contract negotiations.
  • Perform benchmark and competitive analysis on payer fee schedules.
  • Analyze external dental pricing trends across national and state levels.
  • Execute payer revenue analysis on volume, price, share, and growth trends.
  • Coordinate and document financial analysis projects and reporting.
  • Respond to data analytics requests from supported offices.
  • Transform business data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
  • Develop best practices for data and analytics solutions.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with significant SQL or Python experience.
  • Strong independent critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity.
  • Strong collaboration and client interaction skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Experience in automation and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated maturity, initiative, and judgement.
  • Strong work ethic.
