The role of Data Analyst is essential in supporting their client at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, aiming to modernize data analysis and enhance reporting capabilities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop measures and metrics to advance service targets and objectives.
• Analyze activities surrounding data input, processing, and output.
• Create baseline assessments of current reporting to support operations.
• Recommend automation of business processes for real-time data collection.
• Produce real-time data analytics for trend recognition.
• Gather data and develop reports to assist leadership in decision making.
• Use Power BI dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Provide evidence-based data insights to aid in decision making.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field with 10+ years experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years experience.
• Experience as a data or business data analyst with large data sets.
• Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and dashboard presentation.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• US Citizenship for active NACI security clearance.
