HP, a leading technology innovator, is looking for a Principal Data Scientist to collaborate within their Workforce Experience Platform. The team is dedicated to leveraging software, cloud, and analytics to enhance service delivery. The role is pivotal in driving AI/ML solutions to address real-world challenges and improve user interactions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product management to align on product vision and user strategy.
  • Identify and develop AI solutions, prototyping and deploying models on a large scale.
  • Partner with Data Scientists and Engineers to advance the Data Science Roadmap.
  • Balance business objectives with technical limitations, providing subject matter expertise.
  • Lead strategic focus to address complex challenges and inform stakeholders of progress.
  • Act as a subject expert for cross-functional teams, facilitating training and showcasing product capabilities.
  • Engage in problem-solving and quick action planning to address emerging priorities.
  • Influence cross-team decision-making and conduct A/B testing.

This role requires you to have:

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
  • 10+ years in predictive modelling and data science roles.
  • Proficiency in statistics, mathematics, algorithms, and programming.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with structured/unstructured data and data transformation methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of Machine Learning concepts and tools.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with Tensorflow/Keras, PyTorch, Spark MLlib, or Scikit-Learn.
  • Knowledge in deep learning areas like natural language generation or computer vision.
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing and MLOps, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API.
