Huntington National Bank's Finance Data Group collaborates with key stakeholders like Regulatory Reporting and Balance Sheet Management to support essential functions such as external report filings and internal analytics. The Senior Finance Data Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, enhancing data management processes, and developing key performance indicators that optimize financial and operational metrics. This position requires expertise in finance business processes and system interactions, contributing to the management and enhancement of analytical applications within the Finance portfolio.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Partner with OFSAA ecosystem stakeholders for seamless delivery to end consumers.
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop, implement, and test data/calculations.
- Create documentation for business and functional requirements as well as data mapping.
- Configure OFSAA FSDF and AAI modules according to project requirements.
- Support and contribute to group projects and initiatives.
- Analyze large data sets and automate processes within the finance application space.
- Enhance data management processes and evaluate both new and existing data.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or information technology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of OFSAA Data foundation and frameworks.
- Experience with OFSAA projects delivering regulatory or risk management reporting.
- Expert level knowledge of SQL.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with analytical platforms like OFSAA or BI tools such as Tableau.
- Over 5 years experience in regulatory or risk systems.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of financial instruments, bank regulation, and risk measurement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a flexible and pragmatic approach.
- Coding knowledge in languages such as PL/SQL, Python, or R.
- Insight into finance business processes and SOX compliance.
