Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System seeks a Data Abstractor & Analyst to enhance data management across infection, risk, and quality measures. This role involves teamwork to devise strategies for improvement and ensuring superior customer service. The team is committed to facilitating processes and identifying areas for improvement through efficient data abstraction and analysis.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and medical expertise for chart analysis and indicator requirements.
• Abstract data for quality measures and support the Quality & Risk Management departments.
• Enter data into relevant databases and participate in programs such as the BCBS Quality Based Reimbursement.
• Organize workgroups to improve outcomes and provide data analyst support.
• Educate staff about quality measures and integrate contracted entities into the QAPI program.
• Conduct risk assessments and apply HRO principles in activities.
• Prepare meeting materials, maintain professional presence, and support hospital accreditation processes.
• Comply with privacy regulations and stay informed on laws and organizational policies.

• Knowledge of clinical processes and medical documentation.
• Proficiency in Google Docs/Sheets and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Effective communication skills.

• Proficiency in Google Slides and Powerpoint.
