In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for Azure Data Lake, SQL, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Automate data ingestion from structured and unstructured sources.
  • Build and maintain data lakes and warehouses with Azure tools.
  • Ensure data availability and performance optimization for large datasets.
  • Implement batch and real-time data streaming solutions.
  • Integrate data from diverse sources such as SQL Server and CosmosDB.
  • Ensure data security and governance with Azure security tools.
  • Monitor and enhance data pipeline performance.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports for analytics.
  • Work closely with BI Developers and Cloud Engineers.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Five years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
  • Strong SQL skills, including T-SQL and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Python, or Scala.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and BI best practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

You would benefit from having:

  • Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.
  • Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification.
  • Experience with CosmosDB and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI integration.
  • Experience with Power BI API integration.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination based on client requirements.
