Data and Machine Learning Engineer

IEEE Corporate is seeking a Data and Machine Learning Engineer to enhance data processing systems and drive machine learning initiatives. The team focuses on optimizing large-scale data operations to support IEEE's strategic analytics solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Create effective, low-latency data pipelines to process internal and external data.
• Handle data wrangling, assimilation, and standardization procedures in production.
• Deploy and optimize machine learning models for production use.
• Develop comprehensive data and computing infrastructures for data and machine learning operations.
• Promote the development of data and analytics capabilities and articulate the strategic vision for success.
• Manage data and analytics projects with external partners.
• Ensure reliable analytics alignment with stakeholders.
• Safeguard IEEE's intellectual property and content expertise.
• Collaborate to manage analytic capabilities and products with a focus on client solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Data structures and algorithms comprehension
• ETL processing expertise
• Proficiency with Python, Pyspark, SQL, and shell scripting
• Cloud-based technology experience
• Code versioning, automation, and workflow orchestration skills
• Understanding of data warehousing in AWS or similar
