iLabz Technology LLP is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. The role focuses on designing big data applications, automating workflows, and developing data pipelines. The candidate will work remotely, contributing to the company's dynamic projects and supporting existing systems.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and develop big data applications using open-source technologies.
• Develop logical and physical data models for big data platforms.
• Automate workflows with Apache Airflow.
• Create data pipelines using Apache Hive, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems, provide on-call support.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the business domain and technology infrastructure.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience as a Data Engineer, minimum 8 years.
• Proficiency in GCP (Google Cloud Platform), minimum 5 years.
• Experience with BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence, minimum 6 years.
• Retail industry experience, minimum 5 years.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with GCP Dataproc, GCS, and BigQuery.

The role demands full-time commitment with an 8-hour shift schedule and rotational on-call support.
