Inabia Software & Consulting Inc. is pursuing a highly analytical Jr Data Scientist to contribute to company improvement by extracting valuable insights from data. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a keen interest in machine learning, and a drive for research. This role involves building models and collaborating with engineering and product teams to address business challenges.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Identify and automate data collection from valuable sources
• Preprocess structured and unstructured data
• Analyze extensive data sets to uncover trends and patterns
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Employ ensemble modeling techniques
• Utilize data visualization to communicate findings
• Devise solutions and strategies to tackle business problems
• Work in collaboration with engineering and product development teams

This role requires you to have:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
• Understanding of machine learning and operations research
• Proficiency in Python

You would benefit from having:

• Graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field
• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or TensorFlow Developer Certificate
• Experience with R, SQL, Git, Neo4j, Comet ML, Snowflake, DBT, Docker
• Experience with Tableau and Hadoop
• Knowledge of Big Data tools: PySpark, Hadoop, AWS (Athena, S3, EMR, Lambda, SageMaker)
