In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex biological datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics.
- Develop and implement computational pipelines for the integration of multiomics data.
- Collaborate with scientists to design and execute bioinformatics projects.
- Create and maintain reproducible bioinformatics pipelines and reports.
- Optimize pipeline performance for enhanced efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues and develop innovative solutions in a dynamic research setting.
- Communicate methodologies and findings to a broad range of stakeholders.
This role requires you to have:
- BS or MS in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
- Experience with multiomics data analysis and integration
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments and databases
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Team collaboration abilities
- Passion for agricultural innovation
