The Senior Data Analyst position exists to bolster data governance and provide critical insights across the organization.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise on cross-functional data projects.
  • Analyze data and document business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct testing and manage change processes.
  • Address data questions and quality issues while proposing enhancements using SQL and Excel.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand data needs and deliver business-supporting solutions.
  • Draft procedures and data standards documentation.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends and insights.
  • Manage data vendors and oversee cost and approvals.
  • Support the maintenance of the data dictionary.
  • Develop new data quality checks.
  • Promote best practices in data governance.

This role requires you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in fixed income asset management in a data role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL.
  • Collaborative with the ability to lead and work in teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with Markit and/or Data3Sixty.
  • Master’s degree or MBA.
