This Data Engineer position aims to enhance data pipeline architectures and improve data processes for government clients.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of data pipelines.
• Develop and execute ETL or ELT code.
• Support the design of robust data integration architecture.
• Monitor and administer systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Analyze and improve data integration and engineering architecture.
• Identify and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform complex query design and validation analysis.
• Optimize operation of large data sets and querying processes.
• Employ AWS data pipeline solutions for data orchestration.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineer on CI/CD data pipelines.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions in a big data environment.
• Gather business requirements and develop technical specifications.

This role requires you to have:

• US citizenship or residency in the US for 3 of the last 5 years
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant field
• 4+ years of IT experience
• Experience with Python or SQL for data pipelines
• 3+ years experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on relational database and NoSQL experience
• Experience with data serialization languages like JSON, XML, YAML
• Familiarity with code management tools like Git
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Public Trust clearance eligibility
