In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and build a scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant streaming data platform.
• Develop next-generation distributed streaming data pipelines and analytics data stores using Flink, Spark Streaming, and languages like Java, Scala, and Python.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to design and support full-stack development solutions.
• Participate in internal and external technology communities and mentor engineering peers.
• Conduct unit tests and reviews to ensure optimal coding practices and performance.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years of experience in application development
• Experience with big data technologies

You would benefit from having:

• 5+ years of experience including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink
• Experience with NoSQL (DynamoDB, OpenSearch)
• Experience with Redshift or Snowflake
• Experience with UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting
• Familiarity with Agile engineering practices
