This role is vital for driving data and analytics requirements in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Establish and manage data environments, acting as an expert in data visualization.
• Conduct trend, time-series, and predictive analytics; facilitate stakeholder decision-making technical meetings.
• Perform hands-on data modeling, design, and analysis to fulfill enterprise requirements.
• Set up system environments for managing large data sets, emphasizing data capture, storage, extraction, and analysis.
• Utilize data visualization tools for creating roadmaps and process flows to aid decision-making.
• Employ data wrangling and exploration techniques.
• Manipulate large structured and unstructured data sets for insights and trend analysis.
• Develop algorithms for data analysis and identification of data errors from diverse data sources.
• Contribute to software implementation for analytics.
• Validate customer requirements and assess solution feasibility.
• Collaborate on executive-level briefings for the CDAO.
• Compile statistical information, presenting findings to management.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in a technical setting, with 5 years as a Data Scientist.
• Capability to implement data solutions for data ingestion, organization, and retrieval.
• Proficiency in establishing environments for large data sets.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
• Experience with data visualization and manipulation from diverse sources.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with statistical programs like R and MS Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Data science certification from AWS, Google, Microsoft, or Oracle.
• Experience with data modeling tools like ER/Studio or Erwin.
