Inspire Brands, a leading restaurant company with iconic brands like Arby’s and Dunkin’, is looking for a Technical Data Analyst to join their Cloud Datawarehouse team. The role involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure that data is effectively presented at the warehouse's consumption layer. The candidate will work closely with Data Engineering and governance teams, contributing to enhancing business intelligence through data insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze and profile new data sources primarily using SQL and open-source tools.
• Identify data anomalies, outliers, and edge use cases stemming from Data Profiling activities.
• Document definitions for all data elements and coordinate with Data Modelers.
• Develop Source to Target Mapping for various layers of data propagation.
• Recommend Data Quality rules for implementation based on analysis.
• Support User Acceptance Testing before releases.
• Coordinate deployments and business signoffs with the Product Owner.
• Update and maintain the data dictionary in the Enterprise Data Catalog.
• Collaborate with the Data Catalog specialist to create business lineage maps.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong interpersonal skills.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience in a data warehouse environment with data mapping.
• Understanding of Data Quality concepts like data profiling and cleansing.
• Ability to create Data Quality rules from profiling results.
• Identify data anomalies and edge use cases.
• Familiarity with relational concepts in Data Modelling.
• Experience with Excel, Access, and Word for data handling.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience using a Data Quality tool.
