As the world's largest privately-owned manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, JCB operates 22 plants across four continents. The Product Introduction Analyst will play a critical role in documenting processes, reporting on project progress, and aiding in the successful deployment of new products. This role connects multiple departments to ensure engineering and process capabilities are in place before new product launch.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Ensure visibility and success of New Product Introduction projects in the factory.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in factory NPI.
- Process Product Improvement documents from engineering.
- Determine sourcing for parts, whether in-house or bought-in.
- Issue purchase requisitions and update component documents.
- Set and update SAP MRP Profiles.
- Establish cut-in and phase-out dates for materials.
- Coordinate with Quality for ISIR and PPAP completion before cut-in.
- Liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, and other departments for component phase-in/out.
- Monitor and record Serial numbers of PIs for service administration.
- Coordinate Fit and Function validations for engineering changes.
- Ensure completion of SAP workflows for capital investment and other processes before cut-in.
This role requires you to have:
- Associate Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Strong communication skills across all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and data analysis.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and team-oriented.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to manufacturing equipment.
