The Data Scientist role offers the opportunity to engage with innovative projects and contribute to the development of defense systems that protect national security. The position is contingent upon contract award and is situated in Northern Virginia.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Gather requirements for new priorities or scientific developments.
- Investigate Federal and commercial technological advancements for their relevance to intelligence capabilities.
- Develop assessment documents outlining security and counter-intelligence needs.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments considering foreign influence and business activities.
- Present findings to government leadership.

This role requires you to have:
- Active TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with Polygraph
- Eight or more years of experience within the IC or DoD
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in articulating requirements to senior government officials
- Experience engaging with senior leaders and R&D management
- Understanding of information system security protocols
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with AI and Machine Learning R&D
- Familiarity with the program life cycle stages
- Knowledge of federal data usage and retention laws
- Capability in identifying technical risks and translating them into program impacts
- Technical writing experience
