Data & BI Senior Analyst

KeyBank is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join their Enterprise Fraud Services team. This role aims to lead strategy and risk mitigation in originations and new accounts. The position involves collaboration with Modeling team, product owners, and various stakeholders to develop comprehensive fraud strategies. The team’s objective is to use data analysis techniques to identify and prevent fraudulent activities effectively.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Fraud Modeling to set model thresholds and review strategies with business/product owners.
• Analyze large volumes of financial data to identify potential fraud and develop mitigation rules.
• Create reports outlining fraud trends for senior managers and stakeholders.
• Identify and suggest new methods for detecting and preventing fraud.
• Implement new processes and software solutions, including writing requirements.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to influence business decisions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts.

This role requires you to have:

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• Advanced data analytics proficiency with tools such as SAS, SQL, and Python/R.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
