Knowesis Inc., a trusted advisory partner, seeks a skilled Data Scientist II to contribute to the AF Surgeon General’s Office by offering strategic, analytical, and technical support in areas including medical and social science research. The role focuses on enhancing organizational strategy and processes for a globally responsive medical force, aligning with humanitarian and active duty demands.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Ensure readiness to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Communicate effectively in a remote environment with stable connectivity and adhere to telework requirements.
• Utilize statistical methods for analyzing business and clinical data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Compile reports and visual data presentations using R, Python, and SQL.
• Advise project teams on data development and reporting techniques.
• Engage regularly with clients through formal and informal communications.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, SAS, SQL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Teams and OneDrive.
• Strong analytical skills using SQL, R, or Python.
• Ability to facilitate client meetings and define needs.
• Strong presentation and writing skills.
