Lee Health is looking for a Data Scientist who will collaborate closely with the Analytics Center of Excellence. The role exists to provide key insights through sophisticated data analysis, supporting the organization's strategic goals. The team prioritizes performance analysis and system integration to improve business operations and ensure effective information flow.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business operations to address business questions using data mining techniques.
• Explore and analyze data across the enterprise to present key insights supporting strategies.
• Design data model architectures that promote scalability and meet initial business needs.
• Act as an expert in systems design, integration, and performance analysis.
• Ensure new technology solutions align with business and IT strategies without duplicating functionality.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for enhancing quality, safety, and cost.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience with large, complex data models.

You would benefit from having:

• Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Experience with healthcare data systems, especially Epic and Lawson.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM quality management methodologies.

No licensure or certification is required for this role in Florida.
