In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across teams to identify data analysis opportunities.
  • Prepare datasets through data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.
  • Ensure models are valid and reliable through best practices in model validation and testing.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to inform model development.
  • Utilize SQL and Python for data extraction and modeling tasks.
  • Maintain and retrain existing models.
  • Develop predictive models using Python libraries like Scikit-learn and PyTorch.
  • Contribute to model deployment processes ensuring stakeholder access to insights.
  • Communicate complex analytical solutions to business stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement within data science practices and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Show eagerness to learn about operational use of data science models.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields
  • 1-2 years of experience in data science roles with proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Proficiency with Machine/Deep Learning algorithms and frameworks
  • Experience with AI/ML cloud platforms
  • Solid skills in data analysis, statistics, and SQL tools
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex datasets
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and manage multiple projects
