AZURE DATA ENGINEER

LeverX Group is on the lookout for an Azure-focused Data Engineer to join their growing team. This position involves crafting and optimizing scalable data pipelines to meet evolving business needs. The data engineering team works closely with cross-functional partners to deliver efficient solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Develop SQL-based ETL solutions for data transformation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide optimized data solutions.
• Optimize data storage strategies, including lakes and warehouses.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure data integrity across systems.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience as a Data Engineer with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
• Strong SQL skills, including query development and optimization.
• Proficiency in a programming language like Python, C#, or Scala.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with the Snowflake data platform.
• Familiarity with CosmosDB and ElasticSearch.
• Azure Data Engineer certification.
• Knowledge of data governance and security in cloud environments.
• Understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts.
