AWS - Data Engineer

LSG Sky Chefs, a leader in the aviation catering industry, is looking to expand its data capabilities by hiring an AWS Data Engineer. This role is crucial to designing and implementing scalable data architectures that meet the business intelligence needs of LSG Sky Chefs North America. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team focused on integrating various data sources to drive business insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to understand business intelligence needs.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and models in AWS and Databricks.
• Ensure data cleansing and standardization.
• Create data models for analytics and business intelligence tools.
• Implement ETL procedures ensuring traceability and source control.
• Design data integration and quality frameworks.
• Monitor data processes and address anomalies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data issues.
• Optimize database performance.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's or related degree in computer science or information systems.
• Minimum of 4 years in data pipeline design and management.
• Proficient in Python and advanced SQL skills.
