Supply Chain - Lead Data Analyst

Luminant seeks a Supply Chain Lead Data Analyst to join their team in Irving, Texas. This role is crucial in providing accurate visibility of spend, materials management, and other analytics, collaborating closely with category managers and leadership.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to other data analysts within the Supply Chain.
• Take ownership of the savings validations process including soliciting submissions, validating entries, preparing reports, and presenting them to leadership.
• Facilitate spend data analysis with category teams by delivering accurate and timely reports.
• Maintain and create Tableau workbooks and Alteryx workflows.
• Utilize Business Intelligence tools to perform complex data analytics in support of sourcing, procurement, materials management, and supplier diversity functions.
• Develop ad hoc reports to meet dynamic information needs efficiently.
• Provide supporting documentation for SOX compliance reports.
• Collaborate with Technology Services to deliver pertinent analytics.
• Build trust and relationships with internal business, Supply Chain leadership, and Executives.

This role requires you to have:

• BS/BA in Finance, Computer Science, or MIS; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of increasingly complex work experience.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• 5+ years of technical experience with functional and reporting systems (e.g., Ariba, Maximo, Peoplesoft, Tableau, Alteryx).
• Proficiency in data mining for optimum business outcomes.
• Ability to address complex Supply Chain issues using statistical, commercial, or technical data.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
