Wells Fargo is looking for Senior Lead Data Scientists to join its Corporate and Investment Banking Data Management Team. These positions offer a rare opportunity to apply advanced machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI techniques on complex datasets to drive strategic decisions. Team members will work with senior executives and cross-functional teams to deploy predictive solutions and extract actionable insights.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs from a data science perspective
- Advise leadership on developing data science objectives, plans, and long-term goals
- Lead AI/ML design for business-driven use cases and present results
- Construct LLM pipelines to resolve Generative AI use cases
- Execute the complete data science lifecycle and communicate findings
- Mentor junior data scientists on techniques such as feature engineering
- Investigate and apply new AI/GenAI technologies in POCs

This role requires you to have:
- 7+ years of experience in data management, business analysis, or analytics
You would benefit from having:
- Advanced degree in technical fields like Computer Science or Mathematics
- Over 7 years of industry experience in machine learning model development
- Experience with natural language processing and Generative AI/LLM models
- Strong command of statistical analysis and experimental design
- Proficiency in data science programming languages such as Python and R
- Advanced SQL proficiency
