Lead Data & Reporting analyst

Magellan Health is looking for an experienced Lead Data & Reporting Analyst to lead the analytics and reporting functions within the department. This role is essential for managing complex data requirements, ensuring data integration within corporate systems. The team focuses on leveraging data insights to support business decisions and improvement initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Facilitate report generation using SQL and data query tools.
• Manage large-scale data sets using Amazon Redshift.
• Create and distribute reports and analyses regularly.
• Analyze and validate data for reporting purposes.
• Recommend improvements for data accuracy and collection processes.
• Coordinate with IT for application enhancements.
• Mentor team members and coordinate project priorities.
• Provide direction for audit findings and report generation analysis.

This role requires you to have:

• 7+ years in statistical analysis and data packages usage.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in MS Excel and relational databases like MS Access.
• SQL and database management proficiency.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
