Senior Data Analyst, Enterprise Emergency Medicine

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data related to emergency department operations
• Elicit data and report requirements from leadership, clinicians, and staff
• Query and analyze data from various systems including Epic and EDW
• Create and present data visualizations and reports to senior leaders
• Collaborate with Enterprise Operations Insights staff in report design and maintenance
• Conduct ad hoc data analyses and develop new reports as needed
• Perform quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Train other analysts and end-users on analytic and reporting systems
• Partner with MGB Digital (IS) teams to leverage tools and processes
• Maintain existing emergency department databases and improve data reporting
• Implement quality control, data security procedures, and audits

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management, information systems, statistics, or related field
• Five years of experience in healthcare analytics
• Five years of experience with relational databases such as Snowflake or SQL
• Proficiency in data visualization or Business Intelligence tools like Tableau
• Five years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
