The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is seeking a Senior Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist to shape and implement the data and reporting framework for the Sloan Office of External Relations. This role involves analyzing data, creating dashboards to enhance decision-making, and guiding technical solutions. The position also involves mentoring staff and overseeing significant projects related to CRM integration and data governance.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of data reporting and analytics strategy for MIT Sloan's OER.
• Analyze data and create dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with OER colleagues to enhance business processes and identify technical solutions.
• Lead special projects, including CRM integration and data governance initiatives.
• Mentor staff on data practices and provide technical guidance.
• Act as a primary technical liaison between OER and MIT technical offices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years of experience with complex datasets, data analysis, and reporting.
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
• Experience with business intelligence tools for data visualization and process automation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions.
• Experience in project management with a focus on collaboration and communication.
