Senior Data Analyst

MedStar Health is looking for a Senior Data Analyst who will be an integral part of the Quality and Safety Department. This role exists to manage entity data collection and analysis, ensure data integrity, and provide crucial insights for clinical and business decision-making. The position supports senior managers and clinical committees in realizing successful quality and outcomes initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead strategic functions of the clinical data analytics team.
• Analyze process and outcome data using statistical techniques.
• Interpret and report clinical outcome data for organizational decision-making.
• Manage enterprise data warehouse analysis and business intelligence systems.
• Ensure integrity of data reports for distribution.
• Provide training on data analytics and visualization.
• Participate in regulatory readiness and patient safety activities.
• Collaborate on clinical research projects aimed at improvement.

• Expertise in data collection, management, analysis, and interpretation.
• Proficiency in SQL, STATA, SPSS, or SAS programming languages.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop or similar data visualization software.
• Strong background in quality assurance or performance improvement processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
