The Data Integrity Analyst plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy of medical records and contributing to healthier communities for current and future generations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review clinical and non-clinical medical records to complete EMPI correction processes.
  • Make critical decisions related to medical record merges, unmerges, patient data corrections, and overlay corrections.
  • Identify and correct duplicate medical record numbers and documentation data integrity issues in various applications.
  • Respond promptly to service tickets and process incoming requests for medical record corrections.
  • Communicate with data integrity and management teams, billing offices, ancillary departments, and clinicians to resolve EMPI issues.
  • Validate and merge duplicate medical records, perform remediation tasks for duplicates and overlays.
  • Update EMPI correction logs appropriately and maintain effective project coordination.
  • Train new staff on application usage to ensure accurate EMPI corrections.
  • Adhere to Memorial Hermann’s policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring patient, staff, and visitor safety.
  • Promote professional growth through continuing education and support department-based goals.
