Microsoft's Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) team is integral to the cloud infrastructure. They manage an expansive portfolio of datacenter construction projects, focusing on efficient and reliable service delivery. The Contracts Management team within CO+I seeks a Market Data & Risk Analyst to enhance its supply chain capabilities for supporting the rapidly expanding cloud services.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Utilize deep construction market knowledge in Supply Chain and Contracts Management.
- Proactively identify and address business concerns using in-depth market insights.
- Lead analyses to provide actionable insights and solve analytical challenges.
- Develop presentations and data visualizations to influence decision-making.
- Implement reusable analytics methods to drive business decisions.
- Maintain relationships with external peers for up-to-date market intelligence.
- Assist in documentation for senior team members as needed.
- Implement procurement plans to achieve project goals on budget.
- Participate in supplier selection and contract negotiation.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage contractual obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analytics and process automation.

This role requires you to have:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Supply Chain
- Experience in Commercial/Contractual Construction Role
- Project Management
- Supply Chain expertise
